Review of the year 2025
Our collaboration with our long-standing client münchen tv has accompanied us throughout the year – professionally demanding and with a tangible enjoyment of working together. We contributed our strategic expertise and technical know-how and coordinated the players involved throughout the entire process – from the move to new premises in the north of Munich to the design and construction of a new multifunctional television studio. Following the completion of the first two television studios, münchen tv is now entering the second phase and developing new formats and set designs – and we are continuing to support them.
At ÖRR, we have supported many projects with our expertise in various roles. For example, we provided project management and consulting services for the introduction of OneSAP at NDR – the consolidation to a common SAP system for ARD. Among other things, this meant that end-to-end digital ordering processes were introduced on schedule. The project further honed our many years of experience in the area of shared services models and added valuable new insights.
Together with our project partners, we were not only responsible for the continuation of comprehensive program and project controlling for the new construction of a large production complex, but also for the supervision of extensive assembly work in radio studios, the implementation of specialist planning and – incidentally – the automation of technical documentation, so that planning work could be considerably shortened.
We applied our core competencies in numerous software projects and made significant and sustainable progress in the areas of investment planning, public contact points and fee management. We would like to thank our clients for their trust in our work in requirements management, process analysis and project management.
And last but not least, we were able to manage and provide technical support for a proof of concept for SMPTE ST 2110 and Trust Boundary in the WAN – a truly pioneering project, the findings of which we presented together with our customer at an international specialist conference.
In addition to our project work, we succeeded in further expanding our partner network and strengthening alliances – with the aim of being able to offer our customers even more tailored services.
We have big plans for next year and will be announcing the first news at the Hamburg Open in mid-January. At the same time, challenging projects will begin for ARD’s tech unit, among others. We are “jumping” optimistically into the new year and are looking forward to our customers, project partners and projects “there”.
