münchen.tv and tv.ingolstadt on the road to smart production

München Live TV Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG and tv.ingolstadt GmbH & Co. KG, operators of the regional channels münchen.tv and tv.ingolstadt, want to optimize their planning and production processes in order to create high-quality program content more efficiently and with better usability. To this end, workflows are to be supported more comprehensively than before with integrated system solutions.

sommer + spohr were commissioned in November 2021 to analyze the planning and production processes and record requirements for future solutions. The existing IT infrastructure was also assessed in order to create the conditions for the integration of new system solutions.

Based on the process and system analysis and the requirements recorded, a compliance matrix is currently being drawn up to select the future system solutions, which are expected to be implemented from the second half of 2022.
