Connection of the radio waves to OpenMedia at Radio Bremen

Following the introduction of OpenMedia as a central newsroom for current affairs television in 2019, Radio Bremen is now taking the next step towards cross-media news planning and production with the integration of radio waves into an overarching topic planning for all playout channels.

sommer + spohr have been supporting the project since September 2021 with consulting and project management services for the transfer of the existing design planning into a corresponding tender for the implementation of the necessary adjustments. In addition to OpenMedia and d’accord as the audio content management system, other existing systems must be integrated into the editorial and production workflow in the area of topicality.

On the further way sommer + spohr will also support the implementation up to the Go Live.
