Along with the introduction of a new control room software for the two locations Berlin and Cologne, the customer wanted to ensure that the processes of the control rooms as well as the disposition and the program exchange in both houses were harmonized. For this purpose, sommer + spohr determined the existing processes in several on-site workshops and interviews and was thus able to identify the optimization potentials without any gaps. These were documented in the form of process models and user stories. The results of the analysis flowed into the project planning and enabled the creation of a complete, prioritized step-by-step plan.
