From the requirement to the test case
At the start of the project, a test management system was to be designed that would last for the duration of the project. The aim is to maintain the quality of the software at a high level throughout its entire service life.
sommer + spohr took over the sub-project management for the development of the test management concept. The overall concept is based on the agile software development process according to Scrum.
The well thought-out and structured service specifications already formed the basis of the test management. The structure from the service specifications could be used consistently both in the project backlog and later in the structure of the test suite.
TestLink” was used as the test management software, which forms the test system in combination with the existing Jira ticket system. Jira handles error management and reports problems to the manufacturer.
Thanks to an individual test plan and build concept, the test cases can be executed depending on the current software release.
The thematically sorted test cases make targeted tests possible. Test cases can be assigned to specific groups so that overloading a person can be avoided.
SWR is able to make a statement about the quality standard of its software at any time.
