Concept for standardizing the video content management systems

Against a backdrop of increasing cost pressure, dwindling human resources and rapidly changing business models, the production of moving images needs to be as lean, flexible and efficient as possible in the future.

What standardized and possibly central system architecture can support this and what could future processes look like? These and other questions were to be discussed and answered together with the experts from the various broadcasters.

Over a period of two months, sommer + spohr moderated three workshops lasting several days with the experts, analyzed and condensed the results and produced a report in which optimization potential and specific measures were identified.

The customer is now in a position to plan corresponding projects in terms of content and finance. And even more importantly, a consensus was reached within the participating RFAs to tackle the upcoming challenges even more jointly and in a coordinated manner from now on.
