rbb launches public upload system
rbb is developing a modern, state-of-the-art workflow for mobile journalists (MoJo) and active recipients. The aim is to enable the secure and location-independent delivery of content to rbb’s production network for both user groups. This workflow includes automated material ingest and subsequent processing of the content. rbb has already implemented central components of a MoJo system in previous projects. In the next step, the team is expanding this system to include “User Generated Content” (UGC) functionality.
sommer + spohr provided comprehensive support to rbb in preparing the tender documents for this project. The team recorded and structured both existing and new requirements in the form of user stories in order to describe the overall system in a modular and transparent manner. In addition, sommer + spohr coordinated the coordination between the departments involved and the rbb purchasing department and ensured that all documents were prepared in full and in compliance with public procurement law for the EU award procedure. During the ongoing procedure, sommer + spohr supported the project management in answering bidders’ questions and in the structured evaluation of the bids received.
In preparation for agile project implementation, the team set up a Jira project and configured it specifically for the requirements of the project. In close cooperation, sommer + spohr gradually enabled the project manager to manage the project independently and efficiently using the Scrum methodology.
