rbb intends to create a workflow for its mobile journalists (MoJo) and active recipients that meets today’s standards. For both user groups of the MoJo system, a secure delivery option “from anywhere” into the rbb production network must be realised, which includes an automatic material ingest and subsequent material processing.

To this end, parts of the project goal have already been implemented in a so-called MoJo system in previous projects. In a further step, this MoJo system is to be extended by a “User Generated Content” (UGC) functionality.

sommer + spohr supported rbb in creating the tender documents. This also included the recording of all previous as well as all new requirements as user stories in order to be able to describe the entire system in individual modules.
Furthermore, sommer + spohr took over the communication with the different departments as well as the rbb purchasing department in order to prepare all tender documents completely for the EU tendering procedure.
During the procedure, sommer + spohr supported the project management in answering the bidders’ questions, as well as in the subsequent evaluation of the offers.
In preparation for an agile project implementation, a Jira project was set up and configured with the help of sommer + spohr. Step by step, the project manager was enabled to carry out the project according to Scrum.

“With the introduction of agile project work, Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) would like to be able to respond more flexibly and specifically to constantly changing requirements.  With sommer + spohr, we have found a professional, reliable and agile-savvy partner to prepare all project steps with this in mind. We thank you very much for the cooperation and the knowledge gained.”
