münchen.tv and tv.ingolstadt on the way to smart production

München Live TV Fernsehen GmbH & Co.KG and tv.ingolstadt GmbH & Co. KG, as operators of the regional stations münchen.tv and tv.ingolstadt, want to optimize their planning and production processes in order to be able to create high-quality program content more efficiently and in a more usable way. To this end, the workflows are to be supported more comprehensively than before with integrated system solutions.
sommer + spohr were commissioned in November 2021 to analyze the planning and production processes and to record requirements for future solutions. In addition, the existing IT infrastructure was assessed in order to create the prerequisites for the integration of new system solutions.
Based on the process and system analysis and the requirements recorded, a compliance matrix is currently being drawn up for the selection of future system solutions, which are expected to be implemented from the 2nd half of 2022.
