With 25 years of experience in broadcast technology, Thomas Drexler set up his own business at the beginning of 2025. The reasons for this were a high demand in the market for his expertise and certainly also the greater flexibility and personal responsibility that come with entrepreneurship.
After completing his training as a power system electronics technician at Siemens AG in Munich, Thomas Drexler obtained his vocational baccalaureate via the second educational path. After graduating with a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Munich, he worked for 5 years at Semikron in the field of semiconductor automation. In 2000, he entered the broadcast industry as a system planner and project manager at VTS Studiotechnik. He successfully planned and realized numerous studio projects for almost all public broadcasters, both in the radio and television sector. In line with the market and his interests, he increasingly focused on demanding OB van technology projects. He was able to combine his knowledge of acoustics, air conditioning, power supply and mechanical design with broadcast technology to optimum effect in this environment.
